I was selected to serve as the Medical Director for our Anson (Zionsville) and Springmill (Carmel) practices leading our group of physicians, nurses, and clinical staff.

I was promoted to Associate Professor through Indiana University’s Promotion and Tenure Committee on the Clinical Track.

Assistant Professor of Medicine

I was hired as an Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Department of Medicine in the Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology.

2013 - 2021

Research Scientist

I was appointed through the Regenstrief Institute as a Research Scientist in the Center for Biomedical Informatics.

I was appointed under the mentorship of Dr. Lia Logio as the Chief Resident at the Indiana University – University Hospital.

The Imler Family

Dr. Imler is a proud husband to Geri and father to Abigail, Emma, and Sophie. He was born in Chicago and grew up in Ohio. His father was a Nephrologist (kidney specialist).

Dr. Imler enjoys traveling and outdoor activities with his family.
